I don't show either of my dogs (although considered showing Simba because his breeder felt he had potential) but enjoy seeing them. It's an interesting experience and really is like stepping into another world where it's all about the dogs.
This weekend was the Coastal SC Lab Retriever Club's Supported Entry held along with the Charleston Kennel Club's annual dog show. Lots of really good looking labs at the show. The two times I've been so far, there have always been more black labs than yellows, and just a smattering of chocolates. This year it was nice to see more chocolates being shown. I'm rather partial to black labs myself.
